which shows initial setup of environment required for this tutorial. And this one is to git clone nodejs in android.

If you yet not covered that, highly recommended to go through that .

We have already uploaded a live chat application made by node.js in our official GitHub account.


We will clone that and setup and run in our device and test how the chat works ūüôā Dont forget to install the kick keyboard before you start this tutorial, we will need that . LET’S DO IT !

This tutorial is about git clone nodejs in android

Tutorial begins :

Open termux , and write in terminal using kick keyboard :

apt update && apt upgrade

press enter , this will update all updatable libraries in your device.

Now write :

apt install git

It will install GitHub environment to execute their commands .

Then write :

git clone

This should copy the full repository in your device .

Afterwards, write :


To see where you are and what files and folders you already got in your root directory of terminal.


cd kickwe-nodejs-chat

then, write :

npm install

give it some time to install all required dependencies.

and finally write :

node app.js

this should show you : ” Listening port 8000″

open your browser and write in url:

the file tree is :

–package.json(a JSON file where all required dependencies needed to run this project. we have used for live chat )

—index.html ( the user interface of this application with input fields and required JS source)

—local.js (contains user interaction functions)

—style.css (style sheet of this application)
